まりこ : L'Occitane

Have been looking out for something that can help heal my dry skin around the nail area. And I finally came down to this.

L'Occitane's Cuticle and Nail cream.

I wasn't very sure about this at 1st because I believe that I have one of the most driest skin. Seriously, but after one use I feel immediate effects on my fingers. I applied and gently massage on the whole of my nail and the cuticle area, and let it dry off. The texture is kinda greasy but manageable as it dries off I didn't feel anything is on my fingers. And it's supposed to make my nails stronger at the same time moisturizing my skin around the nails. It has shea butter in it so I assume it might be great if I use a longer time.

This is how the product looked like. It's in a tube and it's 15ml. I applied a single dot on each and every nail 1st before closing the cap because I don't want greasy caps!

まりこ : The Face Shop

Went to The Face Shop to get my face cleanser and black head remover! Actually I wasn't supposed to buy anything, but the promoter there is doing her job very well. So.. At least I resist the temptation to buy the things I don't need.

This is the cleansing emulsion.

I liked how it feels on my skin while it gently removes my makeup. No cotton pad are needed, just use clean fingers to massage until make up dissolves. It might feel a little oily, but after rinsing off with tap water, my skin feels clean even without using facial wash.

Note: This is just a face makeup remover, avoid eyes.

Next, White Mud Nose Pack.

Nose packs are one of the scariest skin care I could ever use! Be it sticker or mask type blackhead remover, it's still horrible to remove them! I was really skeptical about using this when the promoter introduced me this nose pack which she claimed that it's a fast selling product in their store and convinced me that this won't even hurt a bit. 

Anyway, this is a mask type. I liked the fragrance and the texture when applying, it feels like a thick layer of "Gatsby's moving rubber wax"/ eyelash glue kind of texture. After applying, leave it for 10-15 mins, I leave for 13 mins to be exact. Be sure to apply generous amount if not there'll be not much of a result. After a few mins I can feel that the "mud" is hardening and then 13 mins later I tried removing them slowly, but.. It hurts so bad! I even teared! That's why I'm so afraid of these things. Anyway, I've tried pulling them out as swiftly as possible and it really doesn't hurt! But I don't know whether peeling it off quickly might damage the skin or what? However, I could say that this product is great for removing blackheads. I can see difference in just one use. I will repurchase this product if need.

Note: It can be used on nose, forehead and chin area.

まりこ : What's that on my face?

Just purchased this lip balm from Mentholatum. Wanted to try out new lip care product but didn't know which suits me the best, because I've got very chapped and dry lips I'm afraid to use products that have not been recommended by anyone but I decided to try this.

This lip balm gives my lip a menthol feeling and it's cooling once applied and I don't feel dry. Because I'm working in an air-con environment, a good lip balm shall be my best friend :)

Bought a back scrub from The Body Shop. I've tried it and it hurts! The promoters were at there saying no it'll not hurt it's soft, but no it hurts and it's not soft!

And I've got an acne/pimple! I don't know what's that?!

FYI, I'm using my bf's acne sticker it's supposed to be worn overnight and the acne/pimple should look better. But.. I see no changes T_T Humph~

まりこ : Dining @ Peach Garden.

After seeing Grandpa's new photo at Mandai, went over to Orchid Country Club for dinner at "Peach Garden". The food there is AWESOME!

This is my favourite of all desserts I've ate. Other than Honeydew Sago, Mango Sago is my top favourite! 

Thanks to small uncle and aunt for treating us this meal if not I wouldn't have found my favourite dessert. Haha..

まりこ : Happy Birthday Grandma!

Happy Birthday Grandma! We're celebrating grandma's birthday over at 3rd aunt's place this year and I can say that it's the most happening one. Because every family get to perform something for grandma. What we did was just a speech from brother and a bouquet of flowers by me. It's simple because we're too shy. Haha.

Finally, take pay already! Have been waiting for this day like for so long... So it means that it's shopping time! LOL.

Just bought a new color from O.P.I

O.P.I in "My Private Jet".

Have been loving O.P.I's nail polishes, this is just my 2nd bottle and it's a bit costly for a nail polish but I really like it that's why I purchased it again. The application is so easy and smooth~! 

And this colour is quite unique because it seemed gray, black and a little touch of purple and red shimmer. I seldom wear dark shade nail polishes but I liked this.

Next, Sally Henson's Mega Shine Top Coat.

It's supposed to help my nail colour to stay in condition for 10 days and also to be "Mirror Shine" but actually I don't see much of a difference between a normal top coat and this. So I hope it really help my nail colour to stay in condition for 10 days if not it's so wasted.

Went to Vivo City today with Love! And I bought this..

Hello Kitty 2011 Calender! It's super cute and I totally can't resist but to buy it! It includes cute little sticker markers! Can't wait for 2011 so I can use it. Haha..

Anyway, Happy Deepavali~! Thank you for the public holiday :) Hahaha.

まりこ : Hell-o-wait.

Updating my Halloween night.

Went to Dragonfly, Powerhouse and Chamber 82. It's totally boring at St.James that night!! Because there're too many people!! Well, there're a lot of thrilling and creepy costumes around St.James which gives me the chills when they're walking by, but the whole place is too packed and it's kinda boring cus I drank only 2 mugs of beer from 9.30pm to 1am. Can you imagine we were standing and waiting for a table the whole night?! The last resort is to go to Boiler but the mood has already gone down.. Need to queue and wait again. In the end, Wendy and her bf & friends, sis and me all go separate ways. I went to Chamber 82 to find Baby and his colleagues. It's so much fun there in comparison of "can sit down, drink and play games".
